Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson
Jazz singer Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award winner was born February 20 1937 in the city of Chillicothe, Ohio. Her parents were ironworker Olden Wilson and the former Lillian Ryan who worked as domestic helper. Nancy was the youngest child of six. Nancy grew up listening to the records of her father and his love for music. It was clear that she wanted to be a musician by the time she was 4 years old. She developed her talent by singing in the choir at church. While still in high-school her appearances in Skyline Melodies. At the same age she started working in nightclubs. When she graduated from high school, the 17-year old Nancy matriculated for one semester at the Ohio's Central State College now Central State University before dropping out and becoming an accomplished musician. She recorded her first record in Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band in 1956. They was on tour from 1956 until 1958. As part of the group, Nancy recorded her first album on Dot Records. Cannonball Aderley suggested that she relocate in New York so as to enhance her career. In 1959, Nancy moved to The Big Town. She was commissioned to sing in The Blue Morocco Night Club in The Bronx and there was a place where Adderley's agent had come across her. He signed a contract signing her with Capitol records in 1960, and she debuted the following year by releasing the single. Guess Who I See Today? Capitol released five Nancy Wilson records in just two years. Adderley helped her move away from R&B to jazz and torch song. Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley's collaboration in the year 1962 helped make her a star and her hit Tell Me the Truth was made available in the year 1963. This brought her a gig in New York's Coconut Grove the premier night club in America the following year and she quickly became a legend.
Maisie Richardson Sellers is an actress who works in both television and films. Her most well-known role is the actress playing Chloe Winthrop (the lead) in Netflix's The Kissing Booth. She portrayed Michal one of the daughters of King Saul in ABC's biblical show Of Kings and Prophets. In addition she has TV credits are The Originals, Legends of Tomorrow and Group Chat With Annie & Jayden. Maisie Richardson Sellers was born in England on March 2, 1992. Joy Richardson was her mother. Her studies were completed at a highly regarded private school she graduated at Oxford University. She holds a degree in Archaeology as well as Anthropology. Maisie's professional career started as an actor with the 2012 short Our First World. Ellie, a young girl was played by Maisie in the 2012 short film Americano and Rum. The film featured her in a small cameo part as Korr Sella for the 2015 film Short Wars : The Force is awakening. Then she was cast as Chloe Winthrop, in Netflix's Original films The Kissing Booth Season 2/3.
