Nancy Wilson and Maisie Richardson

Nancy Wilson was born 20th February 1937 in Chillicothe to Olden Wilson, an iron worker, and Lillian Ryan (a former housemaid). Nancy was the youngest of six kids. Nancy's father was an avid fan of music and loved to play records with his children at home. This was a major influence upon her growing up. When she was young she had already developed an idea of who she was and what she hoped to accomplish. The choir at church encouraged her to develop the talent. She won a TV-talent show in her 15th year and then began performing regularly on the tv show Skyline Melodies while still in high school. At the age of 15years old, Nancy started her career in night clubs. Nancy was a high school graduate at 17 and attended Ohio's Central State College, now Central State University for a entire year. She then dropped out to pursue a profession as professional musician. In 1956, she recorded her debut record with Rusty Bryant's Carolyn Club Big Band with whom she toured from 1956 between 1956 and 1958. Nancy released her first album on Dot Records while in the group. Cannonball Adderley told her to move into New York to further her professional career. She moved into The Big Town at the end of 1959. Her agent heard her speak in The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she then signed her contract. Within one month after arriving to New York, she was in the city. He obtained a contract for with Capitol records in 1960 and she debuted that year with the single. Guess whom I saw in the present. Her albums were a hit and Capitol issued 5 Nancy Wilson albums in two years. Adderley influenced her to move away from R&B in favor of jazz and torch song. Their collaboration in 1962 with Nancy Wilson and Cannonball Adderley helped propel her to fame and she had her breakout smash Tell Me the Truth in 1963. In the year following it led to her being booked at the New York's Coconut Grove - the top nightclub in America.

Maisie Richardson-Sellers is a British actor and actress in the film and television industry. She was Chloe Winthrop's character in the Netflix film The Kissing Booth. As she played King Saul Israel's Daughter Michal in the ABC Biblical series Of Kings and Prophets. Alongside that she has also appeared in a variety of TV programs, like The Originals.
