The Jazz singer Nancy Wilson a three-time Grammy Award-winner was born on February 20, 1937, in Chillicothe Ohio to iron-worker Olden Wilson and his wife Lillian Ryan who worked as a housekeeper. The agent of Adderley heard about her in The Blue Morocco Night Club, Boston Road, The Bronx and she then signed her contract. Within one month after arriving at New York City. The contract was signed signing her with Capitol Records in the year 1960. she made her debut that year, with a single.
